Key Responsibilities- Provide high‑quality patient care:
Perform a range of dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, root planing (SRP), and adjunctive treatments as needed. - Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral health, including brushing, flossing, plaque control, nutrition, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with the dental team:
Work closely with the dentist and other team members to assess patient needs and ensure they receive the best care possible, and assist with developing individualized treatment plans. - Ensure patient comfort and communication:
Make patients comfortable throughout appointments, address concerns, build relationships, and encourage good oral hygiene habits. - Maintain clinical documentation:
Keep accurate and up‑to‑date patient records, documenting all treatments, procedures, and patient interactions. - Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to provide a safe environment.
- Manage patient flow:
Effectively manage a productive schedule of 8‑12 patients per day while maintaining quality.
- Education & Licensure:
Degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state dental hygiene license. - Experience:
Previous experience preferred, but newly graduated hygienists are encouraged to apply. - Communication:
Excellent verbal and written skills with a service‑oriented, compassionate approach. - Professionalism & Commitment:
