In this role, you will be a part of the Aviation, Transit and Commercial Buildings team, of the Buildings Sector, based in Dallas, TX

A Project Architect represents the Firm's interests through effective project leadership and actions that advance the Firm's mission and business interests. The Project Architect speaks for the Firm and conducts him/herself in a manner commensurate with a position of leadership and mentoring within the Firm. Your responsibilities include:

What a day at EXP has in store for you

* Lead and coordinate the technical development of projects working under Project Managers and Principals from Conceptual Design through Construction Documents and Construction Phase.

* Ability to coordinate with a multi-discipline team of architects and engineers, both in-house staff and outside subconsultants, ensuring the project is detailed and executed to maintain the design concept with technical astuteness and within the project budget.

* Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

* Develop presentation documents and participate in presentations to clients

* Develop design concepts under the leadership of the Principal Designer

* Participate in design phase activities by providing expertise in detail development

* Develop construction drawings and specifications for all project phases

* Ensure that designs meet applicable building code requirements

* Assist with all corresponding bid and construction phase activities in the office and in the field

What your experience looks like

* Bachelor or Masters Degree in Architecture required from an accredited University

* Architectural license required

* LEED AP a plus

* Detailed knowledge of architectural and engineering practice with emphasis on design, design development, preparation of construction documents, preparation of specifications, building materials, construction costs, and building codes

* Must be proficient with AutoCAD & Revit

* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
