Landscape Architect II

BKV Group seeks a talented Landscape Architect II with 4‑8 years’ experience as a licensed landscape architect to join our Urban Design and Landscape Architecture practice. The ideal candidate will be a flexible, team‑oriented individual with strong design and presentation skills, time management, and experience in all phases of design and documentation. Project related responsibilities include the following:

• Develop design concepts for, primarily, multi‑family residential exterior spaces and physical environments.
• Prepare project design drawings, details, and specifications from schematic design through construction documents in Revit.
• Create 3D computer models using Revit, 3D Studio Max, Google Sketch Up, or similar programs.
• Create color plans, renderings, project elevations, and perspectives using Adobe Creative Suite CS5.
• Assist with presentation boards and/or hand‑outs.
• Assist with precedent and visioning studies.

• Four‑year college or university degree.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field such as placemaking, ecology, stormwater/drainage, climate, soil, grading, and plant materials. The ability to evaluate the project’s impact on the local ecosystem at all stages. Experience with/understanding of green roof construction a plus.
• 4‑8 years’ experience as a Licensed Landscape Architect.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from the MA and SPA.
• Proficient in Revit, Adobe, and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional technical skills preferred, such as Google Sketch Up.

Compensation range: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, or commensurate with experience.
