POSITION SUMMARY

The essence of the painter's role is to paint all items going through the powder coat booth, while keeping a high-quality standard.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Able to stand and paint all parts for extended times throughout shift.

* Ability to recognize our paint color extensions.

* Good working knowledge of powder coat application.

* Able to operate all functions of the Nordson paint booth.

ATTRIBUTES

* Keep up in a fast-paced environment.

* Communicate ideas and issues in a timely manner.

* Keep up with LSI's high-quality standards.

* Work in a team orientated manner.

* Change a color in one minute and 20 seconds.

* Paint manually at 10 feet per minute.

* Maintain 5S in department.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Previous powder coat experience needed.

* High School Degree or GED preferred

* Basic computer knowledge.

* Ability to read prints.
