CAD Drafter – Commercial Roofing

We’re expanding our commercial roofing department and need a skilled CAD Drafter to create accurate roof plans and details for construction projects.

• Collect data from multiple sources—project site, digital files, and hand sketches—then produce precise roof plans and details.
• Maintain excellent relationships with Production Manager, Estimating Team, Sales Team, and Clients.
• Deliver drawings and drawings revisions with quick turnaround.
• Conduct job site visits to survey existing conditions and provide assistance to the Production Manager.
• Ensure all drawings meet project specifications and client requirements.
• Maintain a high sense of urgency and drive to meet deadlines.

• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• Autocad
  
  LT 2017 Training Certificate or two years of verified work experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and client sketches.
• Strong math skills, especially with fractions and decimals (millimeters and inches).
• Self‑motivated, highly detail oriented and able to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with minimal guidance.
