Overview
Corgan is actively recruiting a Project Architect to join the Multifamily team.
Responsibilities- Generating creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project
- Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables
- Manage contract administration responsibilities
- Coordinate with a variety of consultants
- Provide leadership to staff
- Manage client relations and ensure client satisfaction
- Function in a team lead capacity, while working on multiple, challenging projects
- Assist with creation and management of project schedules
- Develop & present appropriate technical solutions to stakeholders
- Assist with leading project studio team members, leveraging strengths, and providing mentorship
- Work proactively to resolve issues that arise between project, design, and technical objectives of the project, in coordination with Project Manager
- Execute coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documents
- Seek innovation in design solutions in an ongoing spirit of curiosity and increased project performance
- Demonstrate understanding of appropriate industry standards and construction practice
- Maintain awareness of, and appropriately apply, new methodologies, practices, codes, and products
- Attend and conduct presentations
- This role is an in-office position
- Bachelor's and/or Master's of Architecture Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or equivalent
- 6+ years of experience in Commercial design with 4+ years of experience in Multifamily projects
- Experience with Type III and/or Type V Construction projects is a plus
- Experience coordinating and leading project teams
- Revit proficiency and technical excellence
- Thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together
- Potential travel opportunities
- Ability to present information clearly and interact with clients, including a variety of consultants and contractors.
- Understanding of building and accessibility codes;
Acumen for how things are built and constructability
This position is designated full-time on-site and requires the employee to be physically present at the assigned office location Monday through Friday during standard business hours
