Senior Project Architect – Buildings + Places

• Design Leadership
  :
  Spearhead the design process for commercial, industrial, logistics, and interiors projects, ensuring innovative and client‑focused solutions.
• Project Coordination
  :
  Oversee all phases of project delivery, from conceptual design to construction administration, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaboration
  :
  Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, consultants, and other stakeholders, to integrate architectural and technical solutions.
• Client Engagement
  :
  Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project‑related communications.
• Mentorship
  :
  Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and design staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
• Technical Expertise
  :
  Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards, while maintaining a high level of technical accuracy in project documentation.

  Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

  Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB‑accredited professional undergraduate program.
• 6+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management, or equivalent experience and education.
• Licensed Architect in the state of Texas.
• Proficiency in design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketch Up, and visualization tools like Enscape or Lumion.
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and sustainability practices.

• Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
• 8+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management, or equivalent.
• Strong design portfolio showcasing innovative and impactful architectural designs and experience spearheading design for projects.
• Experience with municipal, commercial, and industrial projects, with a proven track record of delivering high‑quality designs.
• Experience leading client‑facing presentations, including programming, space planning, and conceptual design.
• LEED Accreditation or equivalent sustainability certification is a plus.
