Interior Designer For Tenant Development Project Coordinator Or Project Manager
We are seeking an Interior Designer experienced with Tenant Development for a Tenant Development Project Coordinator or Project Manager role for an established firm in Dallas, TX.
In this role, you will work on a vast assortment of spaces that range in size and scope while addressing a wide range of budgets and timelines. Clients include building owners, property managers, leasing agents, and end-users (tenants and independent corporate clients).
Role:
Responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of buildings and/or corporate projects, including all aspects of commercial interior design projects from inception to completion, taking ownership of all phases of a project. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in interior design, project management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to make most decisions on one's own.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will perform some or all the following tasks under little or no supervision:
- Manage daily, weekly, and monthly project deadlines and scheduling
- Deliver and track client production work
- Complete ongoing training with other design team members
- CAD work / delegation / supervision of team's production work (including as-builts, space plans, pricing plans, construction documents, marketing plans, lease exhibits, square footage calculations, file translations)
- Review of others' production work
- Field verification
- Finish selections and palette presentations, both virtually and in-person
- Research (including code compliance, finishes, products and materials)
- Vendor / consultant coordination
- Interaction and correspondence with multiple clients.
- BOMA square footage calculations and charts
- Independent decision making with guidance from senior management as required
- Independent management of portfolio of buildings and/or corporate projects
- If registered, sealing and signing of construction drawings
Requirements: 4-year accredited interior design degree preferred. 4+ years of relevant work experience in Tenant Development REQUIRED. Adobe Suites capabilities a plus. Software Proficiency:
AutoCAD, Microsoft Office 365, and Bluebeam. Must have 4-10 years of Tenant Development experience in the USA. Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or current Employment Authorization Document Holder with NO visa sponsor ships required now or in the future. NO 3RD PARTY RECRUITMENT FIRMS. NO SPLIT FEES.
