BIM Engineer; VDC Manager Data Center

Our Client is seeking a rockstar VDC Manager that can be beneficial to Data Center/Mission Critical environments in DFW and surrounding areas!

• Data Center/Mission Critical (Oil & Gas or Hospitals)
• TRAVEL required

• Executing high quality BIM content for the VDC Department, project teams and other support department
• Manage project 3D spatial coordination including BIM schedule, scope and supporting files/model
• Provide support for VDC staff on all BIM enabled project
• Adhere to implemented processes but also assist in improving VDC workflow
• Attend and participate in departmental meetings, goals and objective
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends in VDC techniques and procedure
• Continually improve skills of management, communication and creativity
• Mentoring VDC Specialists and project team member
• Support VDC department initiatives and objects/key result

• Architectural, Engineering, Construction, or Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 2-5 years of field or VDC experience
• Possess a general knowledge and competency of computer hardware and software
• Possess a general level knowledge of key software applications (AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, etc.
• Has a background or interest in leveraging 3D information
