Project Architect

The Encompass Group is partnering with a growing and highly respected architecture firm to identify a Project Architect for their Dallas office. This organization is experiencing significant growth and is seeking a collaborative leader to oversee projects from concept through construction while mentoring project teams and maintaining strong client relationships.

About the Opportunity

This role will be responsible for managing the design and production process of architectural projects, coordinating consultant documents, leading client meetings, and overseeing project teams throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate is an organized and analytical professional with demonstrated experience leading project teams and delivering successful architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from conceptual design through construction administration.
• Coordinate the implementation of design intent into construction documents, specifications, and project deliverables.
• Develop and manage project schedules while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
• Lead client meetings and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review submittals, oversee construction documentation, and maintain design integrity throughout project delivery.
• Mentor and develop architectural staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Lead internal project coordination meetings and oversee multidisciplinary project integration.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited university.
• Registered Architect license required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within an architecture firm.
• At least 3 years of experience leading projects and project teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and relationship-management skills.
• Experience with in K-12, Higher Education, or Commercial projects is preferred.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
