CAD/ AutoCAD/ Mechanical Design, Architect / Sr. Architect
Company Description
Arcuatio is an architect‑led development partner serving real estate developers, franchise teams, owner‑builders, and land buyers across Texas and beyond. The company co‑invests in client projects, deferring pre‑development costs and staying involved from site selection through ribbon cutting to reduce upfront design risk. Arcuatio delivers a full range of architecture and development services, including programming, planning, feasibility studies, budgeting, due diligence, design, permitting, construction administration, and project management.
The team works across commercial, multi‑family, restaurant, mixed‑use, and residential development. As owners and operators themselves, Arcuatio focuses on long‑term partnership and shared success with its clients.
The Architect will support projects across the full development lifecycle, from early concept through construction completion, in a contract capacity. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include developing architectural designs and documentation, contributing to programming and planning efforts, and assisting with feasibility studies and budgeting. The role involves coordinating with project managers, engineers, consultants, and development partners to ensure design integration, code compliance, and timely permitting.
The Architect will review construction documents, participate in construction administration, and help resolve design and field issues in collaboration with project teams. This is a hybrid role based in the Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex, with a mix of on‑site project work and some work‑from‑home flexibility.
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with experience across commercial or multi‑family, restaurant, mixed‑use, or residential projects.
- Proficiency in Project Management, including coordination of timelines, resources, stakeholders, and deliverables throughout the development process.
- Experience with Software Development and Integration in the context of architectural workflows (e.g., BIM tools, CAD platforms, project management systems).
- Familiarity with feasibility studies, programming, planning, budgeting, due diligence, permitting, and construction administration.
- Proficiency in industry‑standard design and documentation tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar software.
- Knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, accessibility requirements, and sustainability best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross‑disciplinary teams and interact with clients and partners.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch); licensure or progress toward licensure in Texas is preferred.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement within the Dallas‑Fort Worth Metroplex and manage responsibilities with limited supervision.
