We are a Dallas-based company that designs and manufactures custom control panels, power distribution systems, packaged pumping solutions, water treatment technologies, and industrial enclosures.

As a Mechanical Designer, you will be the vital link between engineering concepts and physical products. Working alongside our engineering, production, and field service teams, you will transform specifications into production-ready drawing packages for switch gear, switchboards, panel boards, and industrial enclosures. This is a hands‑on, in‑person role where you will see your designs come to life on the shop floor.

• Design & Model:
  Utilize Autodesk Inventor (or Solid Works) to develop detailed 3D models and assemblies for complex industrial power systems.
• Fabrication Excellence:
  Create comprehensive, "build-ready" fabrication drawings (weldments, sheet metal patterns, cut lists) that require no interpretation.
• BOM & Data Management:
  Maintain data integrity within Autodesk Vault and ensure seamless synchronization between CAD and our ERP (Sage X3).
• Collaborative Engineering:
  Partner with electrical teams on layouts and conduit routing, while incorporating redlines and real‑time feedback from the production floor.
• Optimize for Manufacturing:
  Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles to improve cost‑efficiency, reliability, and assembly ease.
• Technical Support:
  Serve as a floor resource during fabrication to resolve fit‑up issues and provide real‑time design support.

• Experience:
  
  2+ years of production‑level mechanical design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Software Proficiency:
  Strong expertise in 3D CAD—Autodesk Inventor is our primary tool, but we welcome candidates transitioning from Solid Works. Proficiency in AutoCAD is required for 2D/legacy files.
• Industry Focus:
  Proven experience in sheet metal design, ideally related to switch gear, switchboards, or panel boards.
• Fabrication Knowledge: A solid grasp of laser/plasma cutting, welding, machining, and finishing processes.
• Mindset: A detail‑oriented, collaborative professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys being hands‑on.

• Experience with NEMA/UL enclosure ratings or piping/structural design.
• Experience with design automation (iLogic, configurators, or rules‑based models).
• Professional certification in Autodesk Inventor or Solid Works.

• Compensation: $75,000 – $95,000 (commensurate with fit and experience).
