Role Description The Lighting Designer will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing lighting plans for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing lighting layouts, specifying fixtures and controls, coordinating with electrical and integration teams, and ensuring adherence to project timelines and standards. The role involves close collaboration with clients, architects, designers, and contractors to align lighting solutions with architectural and interior design concepts.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, requiring regular presence at project sites and company offices to support design, implementation, and client meetings.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in Lighting Design and Architectural Lighting, with the ability to create detailed and code-compliant lighting plans.
• Proficiency in Lighting Control systems and Lighting specifications, including selection of fixtures, control devices, and integration with electrical designs.
• Experience in Interior Design or collaboration with interior design teams to ensure lighting solutions complement overall space planning and aesthetics.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings, and use design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or lighting calculation tools.
• Strong project coordination skills, including communication with clients and trade partners, attention to detail, and time management.
• Relevant education in lighting design, architecture, interior design, electrical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
