SENIOR DESIGNER – HOSPITALITY / RESTAURANT INTERIORS

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Designer to join our Dallas studio and help shape the next generation of hospitality brands. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the creative vision for high-profile hospitality projects, developing innovative concepts that exceed client expectations and strengthen Harrison's reputation for design excellence.
  • Create architectural and interior design solutions from brand positioning and concept development through to construction documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Branding team to translate brand strategy into compelling guest environments and consistent brand experiences across every touchpoint.
  • Design solutions that balance creativity with commercial thinking, delivering exceptional guest experiences that help clients achieve their business objectives.
  • Build trusted client relationships by leading presentations, workshops, and design discussions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams of architects, interior designers, graphic designers, and project managers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous learning while reporting into the Design Managers and Vice President of Design.
  • Champion creative excellence through mentoring, design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and innovative presentation techniques that clearly communicate design intent.
  • Produce and oversee high-quality 2D and 3D design deliverables, including renderings, Sketch Up models, and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate effectively with consultants, suppliers, and vendors to maintain design integrity and deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with Harrison's teams across the USA, UK, and Asia-Pacific to share knowledge and maintain consistent global design standards.
  • Champion innovation by embracing emerging technologies, digital design tools, and improved creative processes that enhance quality, efficiency, and client outcomes.
  • Produce and review high-quality design and construction documentation using Revit and other industry-leading software.
Requirements
  • 8+ years' professional experience in hospitality design, supported by a strong portfolio of hotel and restaurant projects, is essential.
  • Proven experience as a Senior Designer, Design Manager, or in a similar creative role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in brand strategy, architecture, interior design, brand development, FF&E, sourcing, procurement, and specification writing.
  • Strong knowledge of building regulations, life safety codes, construction detailing, and project documentation.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire multidisciplinary teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
  • A client focused approach through, excellent client relationship building, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize competing deadlines, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Sketch Up, Photoshop, Illustrator, rendering, and 3D modelling software.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
