Architectural Project Manager/Project Architect

We are seeking an Architectural Project Manager/Project Architect to focus on high end residential projects for an award-winning architecture firm.

ROLE:

The Project Architect will provide project design support on projects from inception though Construction Administration, including design, drawings, and details, while integrating firm's aesthetic, constantly collaborating with team members across architecture, interior design, and landscape design, and applying all work through curated processes and client-based service is essential.

  • work on different projects through various phases with different demands, different clients, and different issues with last-minute requests that can be hard to anticipate, while meeting internal and client deadlines
  • act as a liaison between our Principal, Directors, and Junior staff, vendors, clients, and consultants.
  • attend project meetings, participate in programming, space planning, job site visits, design presentations, vendor/representative coordination, review shop drawings, and answer requests for information with project contractors and consultants.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Architecture
  • Registered Architect or on path to registration preferred, but not required.
  • 5-8+ years of architecture work experience
  • Expertise with AUTOCAD (REQUIRED) and Sketchup
  • Skilled with detailing
  • Free-hand sketching ability highly preferred
  • Ability to Lead/Manage projects on their own.
  • Customer service and client interaction experience working directly with clients through all stages of projects.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, in a fast paced environment.
  • Experienced with on-site construction projects and general contractor coordination.
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Must have a working vehicle to be able to attend site visits.
  • * Must have architecture experience with high-end residential projects in the USA.
  • * Must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or current Employment Authorization Document Holder with no visa sponsor ships required now or in the future.
