We are a global design firm with expertise in all aspects of the built environment. With studios in 26 locations globally, we design to enhance the human experience and leave a lasting and positive impact on people's lives and the world we inhabit.

Perkins Eastman has a highly collaborative, team-oriented culture. We are architects, interior designers, planners, urban designers, graphic designers, construction administration specialists and other professional disciplines unified with the goal of creating aspirational design solutions.

We are looking for a talented and design-driven Architectural Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate thrives in conceptual design and master planning, with a strong ability to translate ideas into compelling visuals through hand sketches, diagrams, and digital presentations. You will work closely with clients, bringing clarity, creativity, and critical thinking to every stage of the design process, turning complex concepts into elegant, practical solutions.

In this role, you will take ownership of key design aspects of major projects, from research and evaluation to developing innovative design solutions that meet client's needs. Your skill set must include the ability to apply advanced architectural concepts, lead technical design efforts, and provide professional guidance on large and complex projects. Your work will combine creative problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and critical thinking with attention to detail, ensuring both aesthetic excellence and practical functionality.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role—you will work with a talented team to produce cohesive, visually compelling presentations and solutions. You will also have opportunities to mentor less experienced architects, tackle novel design challenges that demand strategic and critical analysis, and contribute to the evolution of our design approach. This position is ideal for someone passionate about pushing creative boundaries while delivering outstanding architectural results.

  • Coordinate the work of design consultants to achieve cohesive project outcomes.
  • Meet with clients and present design concepts and project updates.
  • Supervise assigned staff, providing guidance while remaining actively engaged in the design process.
  • Mentor junior staff, supporting their growth while maintaining hands-on involvement in delivering high-quality design.
  • Follow established standards for project production, quality, and review.
  • Keep the Project Manager and Principal in Charge informed of project progress or when assistance is needed.
  • Support the studio and leadership in preparing Design Services Proposals.
