Design Project Manager
Immediate need for a talented Design Project Manager. This is a Fulltime opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Chicago, IL / Austin, TX / Dallas, TX (Onsite).
Pay Range: $100,000 - $120,000/annum

Key Responsibilities- Manage architectural projects through all design and construction phases, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and scope management activities.
- Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams.
- Facilitate design, owner, and project team meetings; establish agendas, track decisions, and communicate action items.
- Manage consultant selection, contracts, scopes, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, deadlines, and design deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Oversee internal resources and workload management using project management tools.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior staff members.
- Support design excellence, project profitability, and overall team performance.
- Key skills:
Architectural Project Management, Project Scheduling & Budget Management, Leadership & Team Coordination, Architecture Background, Design & Project Management Tools (Deltek, Procore, Revit, and Bluebeam). - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture required.
- 10+ years of experience managing architectural design projects.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and coordinating consultants.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, and workload management.
- Experience managing projects from design development through construction documentation.
- Strong client-facing communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with project management tools such as Deltek, Procore, Bluebeam, and Revit preferred.
- Architectural licensure, PMP, LEED AP, or WELL AP certification is a plus.
