Design Manager

Lead Data Center Design Manager | Dallas, Texas | 2–3 days in office

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Center Design Manager to lead the design and delivery of multiple data center fit-out and white-space projects from design through construction and handover.

• Lead Architectural, MEP and LV/IT design across multiple data center projects.
• Act as the key design contact for A/E consultants, contractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Lead design reviews, page-turns, Basis of Design, Sequence of Operations, commissioning plans and testing scripts.
• Manage design deviations, budgets, schedules, RFPs, consultants and vendors.
• Review OFCI equipment submittals and support procurement and construction teams.
• Conduct site visits to ensure designs are implemented correctly and resolve design issues.
• Track scope, cost, schedule, risks and project progress through handover.
• Support value engineering and innovative data center design solutions.

• Proven data center / mission-critical design and delivery experience

• Strong MEP and LV/IT knowledge.
• Experience managing consultants, contractors and technical stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of design, construction and commissioning.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.
