This is more than a production role. You'll be a key contributor to project delivery, helping coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, improve BIM processes, and mentor fellow technicians while supporting projects that serve healthcare, higher education, K-12, municipal, cultural, and commercial clients.

What You'll DoAs an Advanced Structural BIM Technician, you'll play a critical role in transforming engineering concepts into constructible designs by:
Developing and managing detailed Revit models and construction documents
Producing accurate structural drawings and project deliverables
Incorporating redline markups, standard details, and general notes into project documents
Leading BIM modeling efforts and supporting project teams throughout the design process
Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and consistency
Managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality standards
Performing quality assurance and quality control reviews
Maintaining project files, production folders, and document organization in accordance with Datum standards
Providing technical guidance and mentorship to BIM team members
Supporting continuous improvement of BIM workflows, standards, and best practices
Assisting with office operations and special projects as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications Advanced proficiency with Autodesk Revit Strong understanding of BIM workflows and model management
Experience producing construction documents for commercial building projects
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications Experience in structural engineering consulting
Knowledge of structural building systems and terminology
Experience coordinating with architectural, MEP, and other design disciplines
Ability to mentor or provide technical direction to others

Education and/or Experience Approximately 5-10 years2-year technical degree in BIM preferred
Skills, Abilities & Qualifications Good teammate, with a willing attitude
Ability to successfully meet deadlines, sometimes under time pressure, and execute work to a high level of quality.
Ability to work on multiple different projects each week.
Self-motivated with attention to detail.
