Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Dallas, TX, responsible for leading interior design efforts on hospitality projects from concept through completion. This role includes developing design concepts, space plans, and FF&E selections that align with project goals, brand standards, and guest experience expectations. Day-to-day responsibilities involve producing and reviewing interior design and construction documentation, coordinating with architects, consultants, and vendors, and overseeing design quality throughout the project lifecycle.
The Senior Interior Designer will collaborate closely with clients, participate in presentations, and manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure design solutions are both creative and technically sound. This position also mentors junior designers and contributes to refining NMDA’s design standards and processes.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years experience in large-scale/hospitality projects
- 3-4 years minimum experience in Hospitality field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit required
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Interior Architecture or related field from an accredited university required
- Must be able to manage and produce documents on multiple projects concurrently in a fast- paced environment with strong communication skills, both orally and written
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
