Executive Regional Medical Director

The Executive Regional Medical Director will be a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician providing executive-level medical leadership and administrative oversight for all facilities within the assigned region. This role ensures clinical excellence, operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Intuitive Health’s mission, culture, and standards of care across emergency and urgent care services.

This position requires credentialling with our health system partners and direct patient care in our sites to assess operational best practices and to allow for feedback to the local leaders.

This position also plays a key leadership role in supporting the integration of acquired facilities, ensuring successful operational conversion, physician engagement, and adoption of Intuitive Health clinical, cultural, and patient-experience standards.

Regional travel to facilities within the assigned region required. Flexible on candidate's location within the United States. Must be located near a major airport.

• Board certified in Emergency Medicine
• Prior experience as a Medical Director or in a physician leadership role
• Demonstrated executive presence, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated success partnering collaboratively with Intuitive Health operational leadership and health system partners
• Excellent communication and clinical skills
• Ability to travel 50%
