General Function

The Senior Manager, Integrations is responsible for leading the on‑site integration of newly acquired practices into the organization. This role is highly hands‑on and field‑based, working directly in practice locations alongside physicians, providers, and staff to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to daily operations and patient care. This leader serves as the face of the organization during integration, translating corporate strategy into practical, day‑to‑day execution.

Success in this role requires strong operational expertise, relationship‑building skills, and the ability to drive change while maintaining trust with clinical and administrative teams.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the day‑to‑day, on‑site integration of newly acquired practices, working directly with teams during transition periods.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for practice leadership and staff, ensuring continuity of patient care and business operations throughout integration.
  • Implement standardized operating procedures, workflows, and policies in partnership with practice teams.
  • Drive adoption of new systems and platforms (EHR/EMR, practice management, billing, payroll, scheduling).
  • Identify operational gaps and provide real‑time solutions to maintain stability and performance.
  • Partner with IT, HR, Finance, and Revenue Cycle teams to coordinate and execute integrations effectively.
  • Build trusted relationships with physicians, providers, and staff; coach leaders through change and proactively address concerns.
  • Lead on‑site training, onboarding, and workflow transitions while reinforcing organizational culture and performance expectations.
  • Ensure practices achieve post‑integration stabilization targets related to productivity, patient experience, and financial results.
  • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, resolving issues quickly and escalating risks with clear recommendations.
  • Serve as the first line of problem‑solving during integration, addressing operational, staffing, system, or workflow challenges.
  • Travel extensively to support practices during integration, including presence at go‑live events and major milestones.
Basic Qualifications
  • 7‑10+ years of operational leadership experience in multi‑site environments
  • Strong knowledge of front‑office, clinical, and back‑office workflows
  • Proven ability to lead change in fast‑paced environments
  • BS/BA in related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen, analytical capability, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal oversight
  • Ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships
  • Experience developing implementation plans and driving execution
  • Ability to travel up to 75%
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a retail healthcare environment
  • Experience in healthcare services (optometry, ophthalmology, dental, physician practices, or similar)
  • Experience in private equity‑backed or acquisitive organizations
