Position Overview

Pediatric Acute Care Associates of North Texas, PLLC is recruiting an additional Pediatric Critical Care physician to join 5 Pediatric Critical Care physicians and 3 Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioners. Qualified candidates interested in a full‑time or part‑time position who are Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine are encouraged to apply. Our private practice group provides intensive care coverage for a qua ternary level, 20‑bed PICU with surge capacity to 30 beds during periods of high census.

Location:

Medical City Children’s Hospital, Dallas, Texas. The hospital is a multidisciplinary PICU with over 1,200 admissions per year, providing 24/7 in‑house coverage for medical and surgical patients, including general, neurosurgical, craniofacial, ENT, ECMO, and a Level II Pediatric Trauma Program. Comprehensive pediatric subspecialists are on staff, including a separate Pediatric Hospitalist Service. The hospital is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group and supports bone marrow/stem cell and renal transplant programs.

• Provide medical direction and education for the Pediatric Transport Team, Pediatric/Neonatal ECMO Program, and CRRT programs.
• Participate in educational initiatives sponsored by the Society of Critical Care Medicine, including the Pediatric Fundamental Critical Support Course.
• Engage with the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO) and maintain participation in its Center of Excellence.
• Assist in the administration of the Foundation for Pediatric Acute Care and Quality (PACQ), supporting multicenter clinical studies in collaboration with PALISI, VPS, and PediECMO.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
• Eligible for Texas licensure.
