Sigma Surgical is seeking a Board Certified Surgical Critical Care surgeon to serve as Trauma Medical Director for an established Level II Trauma Center in North Dallas. This leadership role blends trauma program oversight with a high volume operative practice and an exceptionally attractive schedule.
The position includes approximately 52 inhouse 24hour trauma/EGS shifts per year, backup coverage, and flexible weekday administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate is comfortable independently managing a busy emergency general surgery service, operating across the full breadth of acute care surgery, and leading continued trauma program development.
Compensation includes a strong guaranteed component with significant productivity based upside and 90thpercentile earning potential. Elective practice is available but not required. Additional compensated Surgical ICU opportunities are anticipated as the program expands.
This role is ideal for an experienced trauma/SCC surgeon seeking leadership responsibility, continued operative practice, strong compensation, and substantially more control over their schedule than a traditional fulltime trauma position.
