Position OverviewThe Senior Project Coordinator is critical in advancing the Center for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) mission by managing a diverse portfolio of projects supporting innovative teaching practices and learning initiatives. This position assists the Center's Director and Assistant Director in planning, coordinating, and executing projects that enhance the Center's strategic goals, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and effective collaboration among stakeholders.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in appropriate field of study and 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.
Knowledge,Skills and Abilities
- Proven work experience in project coordination/management.

- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.

- Familiarity with budgeting, financial tracking, and resource management.
- Project Management & Coordination
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with the Center's strategic objectives.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication
- Serve as a central point of contact for internal teams, faculty, and external partners involved in Center initiatives.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and updates, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Prepare and distribute status reports, project documentation, and presentations to CITL Leadership.
- Administrative & Operational Support
- Coordinate logistics for events, workshops, and training sessions, including scheduling, vendor management, and travel arrangements.
- Manage project-related budgets, track expenditures, and assist with financial reporting.
- Support the development and implementation of Center policies and procedures that streamline operations.
- Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Evaluate project outcomes and gather feedback to drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
- Assist in developing and refining tools and processes to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with institutional policies and standards throughout project life cycles.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
