Slingshot Prep is the leading tutoring firm in the DFW Metroplex with offices in north Dallas. Slingshot provides tutoring for the SAT, ACT, ISEE and other standardized tests, as well as academic tutoring. Slingshot is seeking candidates interested in a position that works directly with students and their families in onboarding new students and managing existing students.
Slingshot is seeking both full-time and part-time candidates.
Job SummaryThe Client Liaison is the link between students, their families, and our program. More than just scheduling, the Client Liaison is a public relations and customer service representative working to accommodate the goals and needs of each student by selecting an appropriate tutor and the times most suitable for that student’s success.
Job Duties Client Communications- Timely answering of all incoming client communication via phone, email, and text.
- Explaining the Slingshot Prep tutoring program and how it works in the initial phone conversation.
- Gathering client intake information, including learning special needs and extra-curricular activities in which the student is involved.
- Setting up client consultations.
- Scheduling students for summer and fall starts, utilizing scheduling software such as Teach Works.
- Checking the cancellation list daily and contacting students on the cancellation list.
- Adjusting scheduling conflicts.
- Selecting a tutor who fits the needs of each student.
- Facilitating communication between tutors, office staff, and management.
- Inputting information in client management system and Teach Works.
- Working with schools to become familiar with their calendars, schedules, and rules for students being off campus during school hours.
- Setting up or making changes to client payment accounts.
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Power Point.
- Ability to work with Mac computers and Apple Operating System.
- Experience with calmly dealing with disagreements or problems with students, parents, or staff.
- Demonstrated previous experience with creative thinking and problem solving.
- Minimum Education:
High school degree.
- Compensation dependent on education and experience.
- Eligible for Health and Dental Insurance, Slingshot pays 50% of employee’s individual premiums.
- Two-week annual paid time off after 1 year of employment.
