Associate or Full Professor & Associate Dean of Computing

* DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

*** Oversees assessment processes and documentation for regional and programmatic accreditation, including ABET accreditation for computing programs
* Monitors graduation rates, enrollment trends, and student outcomes
* Ensures compliance with Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB), Texas A&M System, and institutional effectiveness requirements
** MINUMUM REQUIREMENTS:**
* ** Teaching & Scholarship:
** Record of excellence in teaching and scholarly activity appropriate to rank
* ** Skills & Abilities:
***
* Education:

** Earned doctorate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a closely related field from an accredited institution
** Academic Rank:
** Qualifications commensurate with appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Full Professor with tenure
** Leadership

Experience:

** Demonstrated administrative leadership experience as a Department Head/Chair, Assistant Dean, Associate Dean, or equivalent role
** Accreditation

Experience:

** Demonstrated experience with successful ABET accreditation of engineering and/or computing programs
* A record of high impact peer-reviewed publications and sustained scholarly productivity.
* A record of effective teaching at the undergraduate level and evidence of contribution to curriculum or program development.
* Significant service contributions (e.g., committees, program coordination, professional service) and evidence of leadership potential in program or laboratory development.
* Demonstrated experience attempting external funding as PI or Co-PI.
** PREFERRED

SKILLS:

*** Experience overseeing multiple computing disciplines or interdisciplinary programs
* Experience building industry partnerships and workforce-aligned academic programs
* Experience with enrollment growth initiatives and strategic planning
* ** Work authorization in the United States (e.g., U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident).
