Initially founded in 1997 as Vickery Meadow Learning Center, the organization now serves over 1,500 individuals annually across three campuses in Vickery Meadow, Wesley Rankin Community Center, and East Dallas. It offers free programs including morning, afternoon, and evening Adult English Literacy classes alongside an Early Childhood Education Program.

As a Volunteer Teacher, you will support adult learners by:
- Strengthening their English speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Building confidence in daily communication.
- Enabling them to support their children’s education more confidently.
- Helping them navigate work, school, and community life with greater independence.
- Creating new opportunities for themselves and their families.
No formal teaching experience is required – just a heart for people, a willingness to learn, and a desire to support adults on their literacy journey.
