Position Overview

Full‑time, non‑tenure‑track Lecturer of Management in Hospitality Management at UNT Dallas School of Business. Responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester, achieving excellence in teaching and service, and contributing to the development of the UNT‑Hospitality Management Program. Candidates are encouraged to build student opportunities and align with the Institute’s classroom‑to‑career initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in hospitality management, management, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching.
  • Experience with online and/or hybrid teaching formats.
  • Evidence of ability to contribute to a positive culture within the school, university, and community.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in management, hospitality, or a closely related discipline from an AACSB‑accredited institution.
  • Academic experience working on a campus with culturally diverse students, staff, and faculty.
  • Experience developing face‑to‑face, online, and blended courses.
  • Experience in curriculum development and program assessment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Participate in service activities, including program development, course development, program assessment, community development for the hospitality program, and committee leadership.
  • Provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate hospitality management courses.
Job Duties
  • Teach undergraduate courses in face‑to‑face, hybrid, and online modalities.
  • Engage in university, professional, and community service.
  • Support student success and career development initiatives.
Physical Requirements
  • Communicating with others to exchange information.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
Environmental Hazards

No adverse environmental conditions expected.

Work Schedule

As required to meet the academic schedule.
