Your role is to continuously raise expectations: facilitating one-hour life skills workshops covering public speaking, focus, and feedback, and conducting personalized motivation sessions that leverage Coachbot analytics to align each learner's objectives with concrete app progress. You'll see students who previously struggled to articulate their thoughts complete the Test2
Pass and leave confident enough to present to any audience. Your own academic credentials inform every interaction. There is no predetermined script.
This is not conventional classroom instruction. No stacks of papers to grade, no behavioral management, no watered-down lesson plans. Mentors who establish strong performance records here — sustained student satisfaction, 100% goal-completion rates, verified skill mastery — are considered for leadership positions, where they develop a small team while continuing to lead their own cohort.

What You Will Be Doing- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops focused on public speaking, focus, and feedback for a cohort of 15–20 K–12 learners, drawing on gt.school's curriculum and your own academic background
- Conducting personalized motivation sessions that use Coachbot analytics to monitor each student's progress in learning applications relative to their individual goals
- Overseeing mastery-based Test2
Pass assessments to validate student comprehension and skill retention - Adjusting your approach in real time through storytelling, credibility earned from your own achievements, and AI-driven personalized instruction to maintain engagement and challenge for gifted students
- Monitoring progress toward 100% goal-completion and 95% student satisfaction targets
- Running a traditional classroom — all students in this program have chosen to participate
- Grading assignments, completing report cards, or managing the administrative tasks typical of standard teaching positions
- Preparing students for standardized tests or external assessment requirements
- Simplifying material — learners here are ready to engage with the full complexity of your subject matter expertise
- Working with unmotivated or average-paced students
Key Responsibilities
Guide a cohort of gifted K–12 learners to achieve mastery in essential life skills and accelerate their academic progress through individualized, high-expectation mentorship.
Basic Requirements- Willingness to work on-site in Austin (Georgetown), TX
- Bachelor's degree from a top-tier institution (Ivy League or equivalent)
- Proven record of academic distinction (e.g., National Merit Finalist, academic Olympiad medalist, or early college graduation)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, or teaching students
- At least one elite academic credential: prestigious fellowship or scholarship (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP, Gates), PhD, membership in Mensa or Triple Nine Society, or university-level teaching experience
- Daily self-reported use of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or equivalent)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without requiring visa sponsorship
- Master's degree from a top-ranked research institution
- Experience as a participant or coach in competitive academic environments (MATHCOUNTS, Science Olympiad, national debate, or equivalent)
- Track record of coaching high-performing students toward exceptional outcomes (elite college admissions, fellowship applications, competitive examinations)
