Position OverviewAdjunct faculty plans classes and implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part‑time faculty member, including office hours.
Minimum QualificationsA Master of Fine Arts degree, or a degree from a related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities- Strong teaching skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
- Significant experience in college instruction.
- Successful experience teaching adults in a post‑secondary institution.
- Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
- Familiarity with online modes of delivery.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
- Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing.
- Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- No adverse environmental conditions expected.
