St. Bernard of Clairvaux, known as the “Little Gem of East Dallas”, is a PreK–8th grade elementary school. We have an opening for a Middle School Math teacher for the 2026‑2027 school year. The position could be full‑time or part‑time.

General Summary of the Position

The classroom teacher plans, guides, and evaluates the learning process of the students. The position reports to the principal.

• Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of the school.
• Act as a witness to Gospel values by modeling the teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.
• Demonstrate knowledge of curriculum and subject matter.
• Plan and deliver standards‑based math instruction that meets the needs of diverse learners.
• Maintain current and accurate records according to school policies.
• Practice positive, consistent discipline in the management of the classroom.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and achievements.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to improve instructional practices.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification in the state of Texas or required college courses required by TCCB‑ED.
• Experience teaching math at the middle school level (experience in a Catholic school preferred).
• Strong knowledge of math content, pedagogy, and instructional strategies.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Bachelor degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
