Campus Director serves as the instructional and operational leader, fostering a culture centered on personalized learning, student success, and meaningful relationships. The role empowers adult learners to earn their high school diploma through flexible learning opportunities, individualized support, and technology‑driven instruction.
Qualifications- Four‑year degree from an accredited college or university
- 3+ years of experience in an educational environment, preferably serving high school students or adult learners
- 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with alternative education, dropout recovery, or non‑traditional learning environments preferred
- Experience managing budgets, staff performance, and campus operations preferred
- Passion for serving adult learners and non‑traditional students
- Strong relationship‑building and communication skills
- Ability to lead a culture focused on accountability, trust, and student success
- Knowledge of instructional best practices and personalized learning models
- Ability to utilize and support instructional technology platforms
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to analyze student data and implement improvement strategies
- Knowledge of federal and state education laws and compliance requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, staff, families, community partners, and leadership
- Commitment to collaboration, mentorship, and continuous improvement
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead through change
- Directly supervise campus employees in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws
- Lead and support personalized instructional practices designed to meet the unique needs of adult learners
- Foster a positive campus culture built on relationships, accountability, and student engagement
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and evaluate campus staff
- Coach and mentor teachers to improve instructional effectiveness and student outcomes
- Monitor implementation of the Texas Works instructional model and ensure fidelity to program expectations
- Maintain campus operations, safety, and budgetary compliance
- Develop and implement strategies to increase enrollment, persistence, and graduation rates
- Collaborate with staff and community organizations to support student success and workforce readiness
- Utilize student performance data to drive campus improvement and instructional decisions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines
- Support conflict resolution and problem‑solving with students, staff, and stakeholders
- Coordinate campus events, outreach efforts, and community partnerships
- Promote a culture where every student feels valued, supported, and capable of success
- Lead with integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to Responsive Ed’s mission of providing hope
- Desktop/laptop computer and software, presentation equipment, copy machines, etc.
- Data entry, database, presentation, spreadsheet, word‑processing/typing skills
- Google suite of applications
- Video conferencing technology
