Why This Role MattersAs a Training Events Coordinator, you play a vital role in advancing Child Care Group ’s ELITE initiative by ensuring high‑quality, accessible training opportunities for workforce boards and child care providers.
This role goes beyond event coordination — it is about empowering early childhood professionals, strengthening community partnerships, and improving outcomes for children and families through impactful learning experiences.
What You’ll Do- Plan and execute in‑person and virtual training events using Cvent, ensuring seamless logistics and a high‑quality participant experience
- Collaborate with Workforce Boards and community partners to schedule and promote training opportunities aligned with regional needs
- Monitor event registration, track participation, and support outreach efforts to maximize attendance
- Provide logistical, technical, and on‑site or virtual support for training sessions, vendors, and participants
- Maintain accurate records, verify participant eligibility, and support reporting for program tracking
- Bachelor’s degree in education, training and development, human services, or a related field preferred
- At least 2 years of experience coordinating events, trainings, or similar programs
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management systems (Cvent preferred), with strong attention to detail
