Program Manager intern position is an entry‑level position that supports program and event planning, marketing, and data analysis and reporting for the SLS department.

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree with relevant majors

• Demonstrated knowledge of program planning best practices
• Demonstrated knowledge of program evaluation
• Considerable knowledge of event and workshop planning strategies
• Current knowledge of sponsorship and fundraising best practices
• Strong presentation, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collect and analyze program data to establish annual goals and objectives
• Ability to communicate effectively with wide populations verbally and in writing
• Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships and work independently

• Participates in off‑campus and on‑campus events supporting the SLS department
• Develops a vision, plans, marketing strategies, and budgets to implement successful programs, workshops and events
• Collect, maintain, and utilize assessment data to evaluate and enhance program planning
• Recruits, coordinates with, and evaluates the work of workshop facilitators and speakers
• Collaborate with UNT Dallas and program counterparts to ensure effective program implementation

• Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
• Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces
• Moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one work site to another
• Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds
• Communicating with others to exchange information

• No adverse environmental conditions expected

Monday‑Friday, some Saturdays. 9‑1pm or 1‑5pm

This is a Security Sensitive Position
