The Role (Primary Responsibilities)- Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures.
- Supervise and manage faculty members and staff by providing day‑to‑day performance coaching and monthly advisements.
- Recruit, train and develop faculty members and staff.
- Conduct classroom observations on a regular basis.
- Work with faculty members to perform curriculum reviews to improve the quality of instruction.
- Prepare class schedules to optimize class size for an effective student learning experience.
- Ensure all students are advised regularly regarding their progress.
- Advise, coach, and monitor all students at risk of violating attendance or academic progress policies.
- Administer student surveys and ensure their timely review; prepare action plans to address concerns and feedback gathered through such surveys.
- Monitor campus‑level metrics related to retention, attendance, and completion outcomes to meet campus and organizational objectives.
- Manage the Education department budget, including staff, faculty, and resource allocation to ensure effective operations and meet critical targets in student retention, completion, and Active Earning Population.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years combined management, teaching and education administration experience. - Teaching and Curriculum Development:
Demonstrated comprehensive understanding of what students need to succeed in a post‑secondary environment; track record of effective teaching, curriculum development and education administration. - Communication:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution. - Modern Workforce
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other common educational software. - Management:
Proven self‑starter with entrepreneurial spirit who can build a great team.
