Licensed Specialist In School Psychology
Provide comprehensive psychological services to students in K-12 school settings. You'll conduct psycho educational evaluations, support the ARD/IEP process, and collaborate with educators and families to promote student mental health, academic success, and positive behavior. This role is embedded within a school district team and serves as a key resource for students with diverse learning and emotional needs.

Conduct comprehensive psycho educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services
Interpret assessment results and develop written psychological reports in compliance with IDEA and TEA guidelines
Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and provide recommendations for educational programming and supports
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes
Provide consultation on behavioral interventions, social-emotional learning, and crisis response
Support the development and monitoring of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and FBAs
Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluation reports, eligibility decisions, and progress data
Must have:
Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists, or eligibility to obtain
DOJ/FBI Live Scan background clearance
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred:
One or more years of school-based psychological services experience
Familiarity with Texas ARD procedures, IDEA, and TEA compliance requirements
Knowledge of evidence-based assessment tools and special education eligibility categories
Experience with FBA/BIP development and positive behavioral supports
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
