The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for Adjunct Instructor openings for the academic year 2025-26. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and support UNT Dallas’s mission to foster learning, cultivate curiosity, and create an environment of respect and belonging for all students.

Adjunct faculty plans classes, implements and evaluates teaching/learning objectives and student learning outcomes. Adjunct faculty undertakes the divisional and professional responsibilities of a part-time faculty member, including office hours.

A Master of Fine Arts degree, or a degree from a related field.

• Strong teaching skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.

• Significant experience in college instruction.
• Successful experience teaching adults in a post‑secondary institution.
• Excellent communication skills in multicultural settings.
• Familiarity with online modes of delivery.

• Communicating with others to exchange information.
• Lifting and moving objects up to 20 pounds.
• Moving self in various positions to perform tasks in tight and confined spaces.
• Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting or standing.
• Repetitive motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
