Why This Role MattersThe Infant/Toddler Resource Teacher plays an essential role in supporting high-quality early learning environments for children birth to three years old. This position assists with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintains classroom standards, and ensures a safe, nurturing environment aligned with CCG, Head Start, NAEYC, and state licensing requirements. The Resource Teacher also provides classroom coverage as needed and supports instructional consistency across assigned classrooms.
WhatYou'll Do
- Assist in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities aligned with RC3, including curriculum support, child assessments, and documentation.
- Support multiple classrooms by learning routines, helping with daily setup, and maintaining attractive and functional learning centers.
- Build strong, positive relationships with children and families while participating in conferences, meetings, and child entry processes.
- Provide coverage in the teacher's absence and collaborate as an active team member with classroom staff.
- Learn and maintain required documentation using CCG systems (training provided), and assist with inventory and supply needs.
- Infant/Toddler Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associate's Degree in child development or a related field.
- One year of experience working with young children (infant/toddler experience preferred).
- Knowledge of early childhood development and a strong desire to work with infants and toddlers.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and volunteers.
- Reliable and punctual attendance, integrity, and alignment with CCG's mission, vision, and core values.
