Responsibilities
- Create project management plans and ensure fidelity of projects and tasks to meet the Postsecondary Partnerships and Programs Department's vision, mission, and goals.
- Develop progress reports, spreadsheets, presentations, data, board documents, executive summaries, and other documents requested by the Deputy Superintendent of Academics and Transformation and the Deputy Chief of College Readiness & Workforce Development.
- Design, interpret, and refine data collection, monitoring, and reporting systems in collaboration with the IT department.
- Collaborate with various departments within the district to ensure the data is accurate and the application systems meet the needs of the department.
- Support the Deputy Chief of College Readiness & Workforce Development by conducting due diligence/research as needed, drafting memos and other documents, and providing ongoing reports to help inform high-level decision-making with departmental leadership.
- Provide technical assistance to campuses, as needed, to ensure that program and curriculum implementation meet applicable local, state, and federal accountability policies, regulations, and guidelines.
- Build collaborative coaching/training partnerships with campuses stemming from CCMR data trends that support and drive students' academic achievement.
- Provide guidance supporting the utilization of instructional materials, resources, and equipment and recommend ancillary materials/programs tailored to meet CCMR outcome goals.
- Build and manage relationships with a cross-sector range of stakeholders (e.g., local and national partnerships with universities, nonprofit organizations, foundations, etc.) to advance Dallas ISD's CCMR strategic priorities.
- Remain abreast of technical, legislative, professional development, and trends affecting college readiness programs, disseminate information as appropriate to district personnel/stakeholders, and recommend program adjustments.
- Assist in monitoring the department’s effectiveness and compliance with legislative programs and policies.
- Ability to work toward and support overarching goals and a global vision while maintaining an intense focus on the crucial details of daily functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Education with related experience;
Master's degree preferred. - Three years of related experience.
- Knowledge and experience with project management frameworks and best practices.
- Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal education policy.
- Ability to strategize and execute to achieve outcomes within the time constraints provided.
- Demonstrated ability to engage external parties and build relationships.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, discernment, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and take direction as needed.
- Ability to work beyond the confines of the job description to contribute to a team committed to educational equity and student achievement.
