Job Description
Motorola Solutions is seeking a dynamic, and creative instructional designer/developer. As part of the Employee & Partner Education division of the Global Education team, you will design, develop, and maintain training and documentation for our sales onboarding program.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain training assets that support sales onboarding with their use of the MSI product suite, including, but not limited to, instructor guides, student workbooks, Power Points, and a variety of online assets.
- Write effective instructional content for a variety of deliverables, including lesson plans, guides, online content, and more.
- Follow a scalable and repeatable process in the scoping, creation, and maintenance of content.
- Utilize multimedia elements, simulations, and assessments to enhance the effectiveness of learning materials.
- Manage and monitor training assets and courses in the LMS.
- Work closely with team leads to ensure training content is focused on the right content, filling knowledge gaps, and appropriate.
- Collaborate with SMEs across the organization in producing high-quality and effective training assets.
- Stay current on product releases and updates to ensure that enablement content remains technically accurate and aligns with product features and use cases.
- Work under tight timelines without compromising the quality of work.
- Strong aptitude to learn new technology and software quickly and be able to convey the meaning of complex concepts clearly to a broad audience.
- Knowledge of ILT and OLT learning design and development models, adult learning principles, and delivery methods.
- Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative team-based environment.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, drive.
- Self-starter, able to effectively work independently.
- Certification in education, adult education, communications, instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum studies, or a related field.
- Strong background in Google Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong understanding of content management systems, learning management systems, and technical communication.
- Knowledge of graphic and video editors such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro, Articulate Storyline, and Vyond.
- Experience in supporting a sales organization or onboarding program.
- 3+ years of designing and developing training content or related experience.

Target Base Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 USD
