Job Description & How to Apply Below
Position: Player Development Coach, Sports Academy - $150,000/year USD

Annual compensation of $150,000, distributed weekly. Full health, dental, and vision coverage begins on your first day. Based in Austin, TX (fully on-site). Relocation assistance available.

Elite-level competition—whether as an Olympian, World Champion, or Division I First Team All‑American—requires a depth of discipline few understand. The question is whether you can convert that experience into tangible coaching methods that drive measurable growth in students.

Texas Sports Academy is where your competitive career transitions into developing champions. This isn’t observational work. You’ll deliver active coaching, challenge students to exceed their perceived limits daily, and embed elite athletic principles into every interaction. Your achievements won’t simply be recounted—they’ll be distilled into motivation frameworks, resilience‑building workshops, and rigorous practice sessions where championship standards define the baseline.

Austin provides consistent outdoor training conditions, a vibrant sports ecosystem, and a purpose‑centered environment where your accomplishments fuel the development of emerging leaders.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Conducting proactive one‑on‑one coaching sessions that convert your competitive discipline into clear, executable strategies for student development.
  • Delivering high‑impact morning assemblies that activate and energize the full student population.
  • Guiding interactive workshops focused on essential life competencies—resilience, leadership, goal architecture—where you coach students through applied exercises.
  • Directing structured athletic training sessions that embody championship principles: creating drill progressions, demanding maximum effort, refining technique, and instilling grit and collaboration through sport (not merely overseeing activities).
  • Maintaining continuous engagement with students across the day: moving through independent study periods, intervening with motivation when students encounter obstacles, and engineering moments that catalyze transformative thinking.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Operating as a passive presence or symbolic figure: this role demands active floor engagement, direct session leadership, and real‑time intervention with students.
  • Delivering conventional academic instruction or adhering to fixed curricula: students progress through adaptive technology platforms. Your focus is life coaching, motivation architecture, and developing meta‑competencies via sport and mentorship.
Basic Requirements
  • Former elite‑level athletes who have competed at the pinnacle of their sport—Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any field.
  • Documented experience applying sport as a vehicle for mentoring and coaching essential life skills.
  • Verified motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional contexts.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Prepared to reside in or relocate to Austin, TX.
