Montessori Classroom Toddler Assistant | Montessori Children’s House and School | Dallas, Texas

Organization: Montessori Children's House and School

Job Description: Montessori Children's House and School (MCHS), located in northeast Dallas, is seeking a part-time Montessori Assistant to support 3-6-year-old children. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early childhood education who wishes to work in genuine Montessori environments alongside dedicated professionals who uphold high educational standards.

Position Overview: As a Montessori Assistant, you will collaborate closely with the lead guide to maintain a safe and well-prepared learning environment where children can thrive. Your schedule will be from 11:15 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as occasional school events such as festivals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support classroom activities and uphold a safe learning atmosphere.
  • Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies tailored to meet individual student needs.
  • Engage with students to promote learning and social development.
  • Maintain effective communication with the lead guide, staff, parents, and students to foster a collaborative educational experience.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a childcare setting, preferably within a Montessori framework.
  • Ability to help maintain an organized and structured classroom environment.

  • Minimum age of 18 years and possession of a High School diploma or equivalent.
