Most children forget the lessons they sat through. None forget the adult who truly believed in their potential. That defines this position.
At Alpha, academic instruction takes just two hours each day through adaptive learning platforms. This structure allows Guides to dedicate their time to the work that transforms lives: cultivating confidence, resilience, effective communication, and the drive to embrace difficult challenges. Your days won't be spent lecturing from the front of a room. Instead, you'll coach students through obstacles, acknowledge their progress, and demonstrate what rigorous standards look like when combined with authentic support.
You'll oversee one K-3 cohort band—either Kindergarten-1st grade or 2nd-3rd grade. Approximately half your time is dedicated to facilitating dynamic, one-hour workshops focused on essential life skills such as public speaking, concentration, and receiving feedback. The remaining time is spent providing individual and small-group coaching, leveraging learning analytics to ensure each child advances toward challenging weekly objectives. Every moment counts. Students should emerge from your workshops with greater capability and leave coaching conversations believing they can accomplish more than they previously imagined.
This position is not designed for someone seeking to deliver standard curriculum or oversee traditional classroom management. It s intended for someone who enjoys inspiring young children, values measurable progress, and trusts that the right coach can alter a child s path. If you ve motivated kids as an educator, athletic coach, camp director, youth mentor, or performer, you ll discover a distinctly different learning environment here.
This is a full-time, on-site position at one of Alpha s campus locations. We conduct nationwide recruitment, so job postings may appear in nearby cities where we do not currently operate a campus.
Current vacancies at this compensation level are located in Scottsdale, AZ;
