  • Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Identify skill gaps and development opportunities; ensure instructors are continuously improving both technically and professionally.
  • Oversee instructor recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing certification or qualification requirements.
  • Serve as an escalation point for instructor, student, or client concerns.
  • Own instructor scheduling, resource allocation, and instructional assignments across in-person, hosted, on-site, and virtual courses.
  • Manage all Day 1 and final-day course operations, ensuring consistency, quality, and compliance.
  • Review and approve instructor travel plans and expense reports.
  • Ensure backup coverage and act as instructor substitute when needed.
  • Maintain accountability for instructor deliverables, timelines, and assigned projects.
  • Review newly developed and updated AVO course materials for technical accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
  • Partner closely with curriculum development and technical teams to improve instructional content and delivery methods.
  • Actively build subject-matter expertise across AVO course offerings, with the expectation of becoming a trusted internal and external SME.
  • Participate in client calls and sales discussions to provide technical insight and support course placement.
  • Audit weekly student feedback and instructor evaluations to ensure training and instructional standards are met.
  • Ensure all training aligns with applicable industry standards and best practices (e.g., NFPA, NETA, IEEE, OSHA).
  • Promote a strong culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, instructor efficiencies, and new training or revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic growth initiatives.
