Youth Revive Ignite Me Program Facilitator (AmeriCorp Paid Volunteer

We are currently recruiting individuals who can make a one-year commitment to us fromSept 1, 2026 through August 14, 2027, serving, on average, 22 hours per week.

Youth Revive provides character and civic education to help close the civic empowerment gap for youth in low-income communities. Through our in-school, community-based character education program, Ignite Me, we provide youth with a communal, socially healthy environment that fosters changes in thinking and behavior.

The Ignite Me Action Civics curriculum comprises six critical components that enable us to engage students in civics and character education.

The Ignite Me Program Facilitator Ameri Corps Member will help lead Youth Revive’s Ignite Me program within partnering schools and community organizations. The curriculum will focus on civic knowledge, civic motivation, civic disposition, civic skills, and college readiness. The Ignite Me program provides character and civic education to help close the civic empowerment gap for youth in low-income communities.

Primary duties include:

• Assist in the facilitation of the Ignite Me Action Civics curriculum at partnering schools and community organizations.
• Build positive relationships and serve as a role model for scholars.
• Guide student discussion to ensure all questions/topics are covered in the allotted time.
• Encourage participation, ensuring everyone who chooses to contribute has an opportunity to be heard.
• Update student session assessments regularly, including outcomes and attendance.
• Meet regularly with school administration for program coordination.
• Collaborate with the team to write updates and final reports for a wider audience.

Members will meet weekly with their host site supervisor and as a team. Program facilitation will take place at Youth Revive's partnering sites.

Reliable transportation to and from the site

This location requires a total service commitment of 900 hours.

Benefits include:

Living Allowance of $9,900.00; paid out biweekly ($412.50)

Education Award of $4,695.24; earned at the end of term.
