Department SummaryThe University of North Texas at Dallas (UNT Dallas) College of Business and Technology invites applications for the Lecturer of Information Technology (Cybersecurity Specialization) position starting in Fall 2027. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position. The successful candidate will be expected to achieve excellence in teaching and service, and to contribute to the growth of the UNT-Dallas Information Technology program.
Individuals with specific interests and experience in cybersecurity are strongly encouraged to apply.

This position is responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester. The successful applicant will be expected to participate in service activities such as program development, course development, program assessment, and committee leadership. Additionally, the successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in a full range of undergraduate Cybersecurity and Information Technology courses, including but not limited to Foundations of Cybersecurity, Network Administration, Cloud Security, Computer Forensics, Computer Networks, and Programming.
