Base salary range $89,400.00 - $, depending on location and qualifications. May be eligible for additional incentive program.
Job DescriptionPerforms full range of Vehicle Operations Training duties for an assigned region, group, and/or designated product areas. Partners with Curriculum Development team to prepare online and written training materials. Works with subject matter experts to ensure course material and practical/hands‑on experience are designed to achieve desired learning outcomes. Executes and shares best practices for excellence in instructor training and performance. Ensures effective delivery of training and solutions to support highest competence.
Conducts pilot training and provides feedback to adjust materials to better serve Cox team members. Contributes to development and review of new training materials by analyzing technical/learner feedback and adapting methods accordingly. Measures effectiveness of training content and delivery. Consults with business leaders to assess tech training needs and deliver development initiatives that improve performance and drive business results. Directs implementation of training curriculum standards and guidelines, policies, and procedures related to training and educational programs.
Translates desired organizational culture into training mechanisms. Communicates training department performance against goals and objectives. Builds and maintains business relationships with key business partners. Problem‑solving; effectively plans, organizes, delegates, and follows through to successful resolution. Identifies training objectives and selects appropriate instructional methodologies and procedures such as individual training, group instruction, self‑study, lectures, demonstrations, presentations, and computer‑based training.
- BA/BS + 6 years of relevant work experience, or MS + 4 years, or no degree + 10 years.
- 5+ years of progressive management experience in professional services, training, in automotive workplace.
- Hands‑on leadership skills in fast‑paced organization.
- Self‑directed, energetic, focused on quality.
- Excellent time management, organizational, problem‑solving skills.
- Terrific communication, interpersonal, team‑building skills.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large, complex enterprise programs and projects to successful execution.

- Ability to quickly assess opportunity’s potential, leveraging fact‑based analyses and industry experience.
25% travel required.
