The Dallas Promise Scholars Program is a newly launched program within the Center for Socioeconomic Mobility through Education (CSME). CSME partners with internal and external stakeholders to accelerate upward mobility for UNT Dallas students and the local community through initiatives that advance well-being, wisdom, and wealth. The Dallas Promise Scholars Program operates with six full-time staff members – a Director and five Student Success Coaches.

Success coaches serve transfer students from Dallas College and first-time in college students from Dallas County Promise high schools. This team works closely in coordination with other UNT Dallas staff in supporting student success.

The Director of Dallas Promise Scholars is a results-driven leader responsible for designing and overseeing a comprehensive student success initiative that supports eligible students, including both first-time-in-college and transfer students. This role supervises a team of five full-time Student Success Coaches and ensures the implementation of proactive, student-centered coaching practices that promote persistence, engagement, and degree completion.

The Director leads with a love for student success and a passion for collaboration, using data to drive strategic improvements and shaping an environment where all students can thrive and reach their goals.

This position reports to the Executive Director of the Center for Socioeconomic Mobility through Education.

Bachelor's degree in related field and five years of closely related professional experience.
