Position Overview

Travel-intensive field role with frequent domestic and international assignments, variable hours requiring flexibility, and no guaranteed minimum weekly hours.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute extensive travel assignments ranging from 1–8 weeks, including domestic and international locations.
  • Operate and maintain advanced equipment such as 3D cameras, 360° cameras, drones, laser scanners, and proprietary capture technology.
  • Execute client-specific scopes of work with precision, ensuring all data and imagery meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • Conduct on-site measurements, surveys, MEP asset documentation, and required revisions to project files.
  • Maintain professional communication with Operations Coordinators, Project Managers, clients, and internal teams.
  • Provide timely status updates, escalations, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Represent the company professionally in all client-facing interactions.
  • Upload, process, and organize captured data according to company protocols.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to confirm data completeness and accuracy prior to submission.
  • Integrate deliverables into project management systems for internal and client review.
  • Safely transport, operate, and maintain company equipment, including drones, scanners, cameras, laptops, and related tools.
  • Comply with OSHA safety requirements, such as ladder use, PPE usage, and site-specific hazard protocols.
  • Work within drop ceilings, elevated areas, or confined spaces as required by project scope.
  • Immediately report equipment damage, loss, or malfunction to supervisors.
  • Ensure adherence to FAA drone regulations and any client- or site-mandated safety standards.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and transporting up to 50 lbs of equipment on a routine basis.
  • Work long hours on site, including standing, crouching, bending, and navigating confined or elevated spaces.
  • Navigate construction zones, active commercial facilities, industrial sites, or outdoor conditions.
  • Adapt to frequent schedule adjustments, including last‑minute deployments.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum age of 21 due to extensive travel and vehicle rental requirements.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license and capability to safely operate personal and rental vehicles.
  • Physical capacity to work long hours on site, stand, crouch, bend, and navigate confined or elevated spaces.
  • Ability to climb and safely work from ladders, scaffolding, and other elevated surfaces, complying with OSHA standards and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Flexibility for frequent and extended travel assignments typically ranging from 1–8 weeks.
  • Valid U.S. passport for international assignments.
  • Strong technical aptitude in electronics, mechanics, or computer systems.
  • Experience with surveying, terrestrial laser scanning, or related data capture technologies.
Preferred Skills & Experience
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (preferred, but not required).
  • Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) considered an asset.
  • Prior battery‑management and rigging experience with drones or scanners.
  • Familiarity with field data management workflows and software.
Position Details

Position Title:

Field Technician
Onsite Hourly Rate: $18.00 - $21.00
Driving/Travel Hourly Rate: $15.00
Per Diem: $55/day in most regions

Benefits Summary

Holiday Pay: 8 hours of pay for observed holidays (Christmas, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Labor Day, 4th of July, New Year’s Day).
Health, dental, and vision insurance plans with 10% company premium coverage.
Eligible employees receive a 2% employer match to their 401(k) retirement plan contributions.
Employees receive 7 days of paid time off annually, in addition to paid major holidays.

Additional Information

While this is a full-time position with benefits, minimum weekly hours are not guaranteed during periods of low project volume. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.
